The event was held at the Claremont Farmer's Market, and Warner passed out fresh squeezed orange juice to underline his point.
Dreier Votes Against Veterans’ Education Benefit

Rancho Cucamonga - David Dreier voted against a bill to increase educational opportunities for veterans today. The legislation expands the education benefits veterans receive under the GI bill to restore the promise of a full, four-year college education. It passed the House with broad bi-partisan support, 256 to 166.

Dreier Votes Against Homeowners Twice In One Day

Congressman David Dreier sided twice today with subprime lenders and against American homeowners. Dreier first voted against the Neighborhood Stabilization Act, which allows states to protect property values by acquiring vacant, foreclosed homes and rehabilitating them. Later in the afternoon, Dreier got his second wind and voted against the American Housing Rescue and Foreclosure Prevention Act, which provides mortgage refinancing assistance and will keep an estimated 500,000 families from losing their homes. He was on the losing side of both votes.

Russ Warner Endorsed by California Democratic Party
San Jose, CA -- The California Democratic Party voted Sunday to endorse Russ Warner, the Democrat running against David Dreier in the 26th Congressional district.
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the California Democratic Party," Warner said following Sunday's vote at the state convention held in San Jose.
Dreier fails to disclose up to $263,000 in stock profits
Rep. David Dreier, former Chair and current ranking member of the House Rules Committee, failed to report tens of thousands of dollars in profits he made in stock transactions in the years 2004, 2005 and 2006. Under House rules, each Member of Congress is required to file a personal financial disclosure form each year listing income, assets, liabilities and transactions. Dreier flubbed his, repeatedly ‘forgetting' to report tens of thousands of dollars.
